    it's a popular thread but it gets old very quickly, another week comes by,

    how about a sticky at the top of the games forum [only an example] with the week start date and the subject , i've been mostly playing....
    and people can post up what they are doing and may start new threads on the games, come the end of the week the thread is deleted and a new one in place.,..

    it could apply to music...mostly listening to
    also Admin....mostly bitching about.....
    and many others

    i know its more work but it could take off and its only an idea

    Not a bad idea. But I don't like deleting threads (even in Humanities) as it's nice to go back and look at threads sometimes.

    you clould make a date (week ending whatever) in the title of the thread. then when the week is over, unstick the thread and let it float away...
