    19" Monitor
    GeForce4 Ti 4600
    Soundblaster Live
    DVD-RW

Well I built a spec near similar.. not as powerfull but well able to do multiple tasks (LEIK Minesweeper and Solitare :) )
    here it is:

    Pentium 4 1.6Ghz
    512MB SD-Ram
    80GB HD
    19" Flat Screen Monitor
Geforce 3 Ti200 (sold it and now have Radeon 64DDR)
    6Channel Sound
    4 x USB and 2 x Firewire
    56k V.92 Modem
    16 x DVD
    Pioneer A03 DVD-r/rw drive (V.Nice)
    Windows XP Home

Now - the monitor and the dvd-r/rw drive and the other 256mb ram I added the cost of the machine was £833 Old Irish Excluding VAT (£999 incl)
    Monitor Cost me €250
    Ram €60
and Pioneer drive was £269 Str which with a Genius Pen+Pad Few blanc DVD-R discs and Delivery came to a total of €550
so total cost wiv VAT in Euro's is:
    €2128.47
Now if I sold teh 80GB HD at the time and bought a 120Gb I woulda had to pay an extra €40-80 so.....
The bulk of this machine was bought before December so prices should have gone down..

    One word : No.
But its Dell, so you pay for the label. These days your much better off building a machine yourself, assuming you can do it. Or get a mate to do it. You'll learn enough building it to provide your own tech support and it will save you a packet.

I was actually referring to the price, nothing else.
There are always lower prices depending on the label your willing to pay for.

ivan, if there is always lower prices, plz tell me where?

I went for the komplett deal, it is a great system, glad I didn't go for dell now.

www.encom.ie was around the same prize as komplett, but komplett's graphics card clinched it
