    For anyone interested in collecting the Farscape series on DVD.. head on over to http://www.play247.com ASAP.

    I priced the twin disc sets in HMV over the weekend and even allowing for the sterling difference on play247, its still about half price in Euro.. so no brainer:)

    I've just ordered the entire first season... and assuming it arrives ok I'll do the same for the second. Seriously good value.

    Theyre still only 2 episodes a disk arent they? I like what Ive seen of the show but I won't buy them so long as thats the case.

    I think season one is 2 eps per disk, but that's the same as in the shops here in Ireland.

    Season 2 seems to have crunched 5 eps into each box set, rather than the 4 previously.

    I've no idea what Season 3 looks like yet (haven't checked it in detail).

    Keep in mind that there is other content on the discs too, such as making of featurettes, deleted scenes, gag reels, concept art etc.

    I still think 12.99 is a great price for these sets (considering its over 40 euro here in the shops on the street). And that includes delivery to your door. Even allowing for the sterling it translates back to approx 20 euro.. so its still half price.

    Each season has consisted of 22 episodes. Each season is released in 5 box-sets of 2-disks each. 2 box-sets in each season have 5 eps, the others have 4. Theres also extras on various disks.

    So far, season 3 is mirroring this format.

    Season 1 and 2 are both 12.99 per box on Play. Thats pretty damned cheap IMHO.
    Season 3 is still being released - full price is £17.99. Box 3 is being posted to me on July 1 when its released. Cant wait.
