    sorry took so long to get back dave. Never got the cmd client working so I fired up the stupid pos gui again yesterday, should be over halfway through it's 2nd WU atm.

    just joined the seti group about 3 - 4 weeks ago. had quite a lot done before i joined, now have even more. using the following machines for the work:
    Workstation: Dual AMD Athlon XP (modded to MP) 2400+ (2gz), 1Gb ram, winXP, command line client and Seti driver. Does 2 units every 4 hrs. 2 clients running.
    Server: AMD Duron 700, 256mb ram. doing 2 units a day
    Other machine: AMD Athlon 1.33Gz, 128mb ram. does 1 unit in about 6 hrs.
    I also have a AMD K6-2 450, but not up yet. takes it about a day to do one unit.
    Now ranked number 9 in the group. working on getting number 8! Should be there in a few weeks!!!

    since daveirl is not reporting any new stats since about 2000, check out http://www.setiatwork.com/cgi-bin/wkystat.pl?group=boards.ie as they have the stats there. looks exactly like daveirls results.

    Hi, rejoined SETI and boards.ie group. Was involved in it a few years ago. Using a MAC G4 twin 450 takes abt. 16 hrs/unit. Anyone else using a MAC and any tips to speed up ( the work unit time - not the MAC :-). The SETI site seems to have a fascination with statistics, but there again I suppose it always had.
