That's it alright. Actually, it's the Dancing DJ's version I was looking for, but right tune.

    Thanks.

Anyone know the artist & name of a tune - was released about 5 or 6 years ago now, had a good beat to it, and had a black guy talking over it which went something like:

"when i was born i was black
when i grew up i was black
    when i'm sick i'm black
when i go in the sun i'm black
    when i'm cold i'm black

when you were born you were pink
    when you're sick your'e green
when you stay in the sun you're red
when your'e cold you turn blue
and when you die u turn purple.
and yet you have the nerve to call me
    coloured!"

    Any suggestions appreciated :)

think that might be faithless translating and quoting an old french poem. it'd definitely come up if you bang "lyrics" and any of those lines into google, you should try that.

    Here's a toughy.
I am looking for an old tune, with a beautiful piano rift that just drove the track higher and higher. It keeps speeding up to the break when it slows right down to the same melody with added warm synths. The name of the track is on the tip of my tongue for the past week but I just can't get it.
The only other clue I can offer is it was played on the pirates 10 ish years ago when the likes of Legend B - 'Lost in Love', Crescendo - 'Are You Out There', and Quench - 'Dreams' were played often.

Stil no idea on my first one, but been going through a tonne of old tapes and discovered a couple more forgotten memories that I never had the names for:

    1.
    (spoken by a man)
... don't hold your breath, reality cries
Beautiful souls be happy for one
Behold your heaven has now begun

(sung by a woman repeatedly with a siren in the background)
    Let the heavens hear me

    2.
    (chorus sung by female)
    Everybodys trying, too many loves
    Everybodys dying, too many loves
All of us are screaming, everybodys leaving
    Too many loves

    Any ideas?

    solar stone 'seven cities' maybe?

Ok maybe someone can help me out with this one (shouldn't be too difficult I hope).
It's not a dance tune, but i would class it as electronic. Sounds like it's sampling some piece of classical music along the lines of the "Montagues & Capulets" score - nice epic sound to it.

It was the backround music to a shoot in "off the rails" that was aired before christmas.

You can watch the clip here, the tune begins at about 1:40 mins into the clip

    Any help appreciated.

Hey Guys, does anyone know the name of the music on the Visa Ad?

    The lyrics are somehting like:

Just breathe…. Standing close to me.....Everyday... standing close to me......just breathe...

Its one of those ads that loads of things are happening - a couple driving in a car and a woman looking in the window of a shop at shoes that are covered in paper.

    Any Ideas?

Nevermind, I heard it completely wrong. It's actually 'In My Heart' by Moby. Fortunately somebody on a different message board made the same mistake when they asked and it came up when I searched google.

    here`s one for you lot.

looking for a track off an old tdv tape.i am guessing in and around 1996.

the mix tape was called progression or regression.

    its the first track.

it has a male vocal saying water.(thats all!)

the bassline is kind of like agnelli and nelsons el nino!

have an audio sample and will try to get it on-line

    cheers
