    Hi Guys

Trying to find a tune I kept hearing about 2-3 years ago at an electro/house night. It had a guy with an American accent talking (rather than singing)over the beat. The only words I remember were something like:

"Jack was a righteous mother****er" and " That mother****in house...that mother****in house" repeated over and over.

    Any ideas?

first one in that mix is the Thomas Schumakker mix of The Magician by Johannes Heil

The last one (4th if I can make it out) the one that comes on at 3.26 is the intro to This Is Sick by Solid Groove. Class track.

The rest I have no clue; never heard em, don't have em.

This is another complete shot in the dark from me, it's a track I heard played at a house party about a month ago and I got my hands on Lucien Foort's Mysteryland 2006 set this week and it's in there again (around the 13/14 minute mark, just in case anybody here has the same set and can identify it for me), no lyrics but it sounds a bit like either Mark Knight or Martijn ten Velden. Anyway hopefully somebody has that Lucien Foort set and can identify it, much appreciated if you can!

Does anyone remember a dance song that was out in 1995/1996 called "experience"? It has piano music in the background.

Can anyone tell me who made it?

    Lyrics:
"Experience the infinity stand up come and follow me"

I've heard quite a few tunes lately, mostly underground house type, with an accappella of a womans voice hypnotising someone.

"I'm going to count backwards from 8 to zero.... with each count you will feel gradually more relaxed and more comfortable... 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1.."
    "Eyes open, wide awake"

Anyone know the name of it, or any of the tunes that features it?

Ok was in barcode there one saturday , and the DJ played two dnace songs i really liked.

    anybody know them?.

One has the lyrics of some african / jamaiacan woman singing "go down"

and the other is a really nice dance song , very soft that starts of with a long high pitched tune like a very high picthed whistle.

terrible description sorry , but i thought it will be worth a shot

    anyone?

Hi folks, not so much a particular tune ID I'm looking for, more so a couple of suggestions.

I stumbled across a track by 'Milk & Sugar' last week and really liked the laid back house-type vibe to it. Unfortunately I cannot remember the track name, although I've got it on the laptop at home.

What I'm looking for is some more of that type of music - pretty funky but with a nice beat :)

    Cheers all!

Lots of Milk & Sugar stuff on those hed kandi compilations and a lot more pretty similar vocal house/disco/garage. All club length and usually unmixed.
At a guess I'd say the track you're on about is Stay Around, love that tune, real summer-y feel to it.

I'm listening to a lot of Miguel Migs at the minute too which is a lot like this kind of stuff. His mix CDs are well worth having.

Cheers Hertz, it is indeed Stay Around - have got a couple of mixes of it.

I'll check out your suggestions - thanks a lot!

Are you sure the lyrics weren't "get down"? If they were, the song you're looking for is Groove Armada - Get Down

Groove Armada fits the bill maybe....but I think it's Work by Masters At Work myself.

Your high pitched whistle one might be Sugarshack by Seb, but that's like 13 yrs old so probably not. Give us some more description.

    Hello all,
Anyone out there know anything about a drum n bass remix of Aphex Twins 'Come To Daddy'? It was about five years ago or more that I used to hear it on XFM/ Alices Restuarant 107.9FM - God how I miss having pirate radio in the car! Also something else they used to play was 'So F**King Perfect' by Juliana, a curious recitation which the interweb knows nothing about.
Any info on either of these would be great, ta.

A bit of digging on Google suggests that the D'n'B remix may be by Richard Devine:

[edit] discogs reckons he did two remixes of the track, the above one and one called the trapezoid mix

    Thanks for all the feedback.
Definitely not the Pappy Mix as I have that. If you could imagine the Pappy Mix, only faster, a lot heavier and with much use of the F-word, that would be the mix I be talkin' about.
