    Guys,

I've had this one stuck in my head for some time. I'd say it is a late 80's theme tune, and probably can be lobbed into the same category as Crocketts Theme and Beverly Hills Cop (for those which will last forever). The only way I can describe WHERE I have seen/heard it is on something like a fashion show television channel. I used to think it was perhaps a theme for Entertainment Tonight, but since finding their theme tune, its not. I have heard it even up till about 4 or 5 years ago.

It has a slow bpm dance beat underlay, and comprises of 2 parts. I can't even really describe the instruments used after that as it was an electronic-based tune. No lyrics as far as I can tell.

    Seanie.

Sounds like the theme tune to Fashion TV. I think it used to be on WWF too, possibly the Hulkamaniac's tune! Its like this really in your fact brass (i.e. trumpets) line and then it goes into a Jean Michelle Jarre style keyboard thing.

Anyway I don't know hwo its by but it actually has vocals, which are never played when its used as a theme tune. They go "your my obsession, who do you want me to be to make you sleep with me" or something like that. A girl sings it. Goole those lyrics and see what you come up with.

^ Human League had the original of that track IIRC, titled Obsession. Bound to be some dance remix of it you recall from that TV show...

MDMA are you jokin me ?
absolute legends ! 2 irish boyos in fact Jason Dee & Chris D
They used to release on Pure Logic Records, I'd say ran by them as nearly all the material released on the label was from them.
sweet rush is an awesome awesome tune !

cheers man there some serious tunes. i was getting karma chant confused with another track, but ied been askin about a tune that sampled the chant in close encounters and found it indirectly, it was next on my list to ask ye. the one im lookin for has an american native chanting over a similar baseline. no lyrics as such, just an indian chanting and wailing, but not to be confused with another track that has a womans voice with lyrics saying something about the power of american natives. ill be impressed if ye can pull this one out of the bag. thanks for the links, i have bits and pieces of them on tapes but its not the same as hearing them in full. thanks again
