anyone know the name of that kinda techno-housey song that uses the same sample as bucketheads- 'the bomb' but then goes into a real dutch sounding techno beat? it sounds like something you'd hear on a sneakerz compilation, can't get it outta my head.

anyone know the name or artist on the track from ~ 9.00->15.00 from Nick Warren's gig in Tripod (Nick Warren - Tripod Dublin (24-11-2007).mp3)????

It has a break with the words "Stare scan absorb every little thing, each minute can be your last......."

can't get it out of my head!

    cheers :)

i heard this tune about 2001 - its a dirty house tune, it has a creepy, gay-sounding doorman interrogating clubbers on way into a club - depending on their style - he sends some through a door on the left, others through a door to the right....

i think its called the door, or the dooeman, but ive no idea who the track is by, or what mix id heard, any help???!

Ok, my turn now (!). I've got five unknown tracks which I have shrunk down to low quality MP3 files and hosted on MediaFire (is that the best method?).

    Track: 1
    Filename: Unknown - Poppa Large.mp3
    Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?jgerjywi3gj
Comment: Features a rather extended rap containing the lyrics "I'm Pappa Lagre, big shout on the east coast".

    Track: 2
    Filename: Unknown - Unknown 1.mp3
    Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?dgjtkdwjhml

    Track: 3
    Filename: Unknown - Unknown 2.mp3
    Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?gwnrttgqkny
Comment: Sounds a bit like a Rollo remix to me.

    Track: 4
    Filename: Unknown - WIT 02.mp3
    Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?wetmznhje4w
Comment: Possibly on the Witness Label (with WIT 02 being the CAT number). Could find no matches on Discogs though.

    Track: 5
    Filename: Unknown - WIT 02.mp3

    Hey,

I'm looking for a dance track that uses a sample of the horns from Kid Creole's - Annie I'm not your Daddy? Anyone have any ideas...

The original track can be found here:

The horns kick in after about 10secs

    Cheers

Could you please help me find the name of he artist, and the mix of the tune (not sure about the name of it) the lyrics:
"My dream is to fly, over the rainbow so high"
I think it's Bob Sinclair but not sure. The mix is with a violin in the lead motive?
It's sort of summery, with loads of steel marimbas and a caribbean feel.
    Tanks

    hi

heard a house tune in the sunset terraza in Space in september, then heard it on Gibbs freaks on Friday last night at about 9 o'clock.

Its an old song reworked/released, sounds like a chicane type tune and theres a massive jazz rift in the breakdown. If there was a roof on the sunset terraza it would have came off!

Here's the link to The Freaks on Friday page, hasn't got last fridays playlist up yet but keep checking back.

    Hello,

I heard a ravey tune at a party in the 90's which had a Pope John Paul II sample of:

"Young people of Ireland, I love you, I love you!" repeated.

It also had a sample of some Irish people talking about condoms. (I can't remember exact details. Pretty funny though.)

It was great (its stuck in my head this long), but I've never found any reference to it again.

Any ideas? Put me out of my misery?

    Early nineties - sunset fm

Your lucky, for years not many people could get their hands on this..

The Prodigy - Android ( Pope v Ian Paisley)

Yep, was never released by the way - a very crude mix that was played on Sunset quite a bit (I always assumed somebody in there made it up).

As the title says Im looking for the ID on a 1994 World Cup Song. It used the "ole" refrain and I think the "Simon" guy who did the remix of "Fraggle Rock" had a hand.

    Anyone?

For anyone at Justice there the other night, they played a song (or maybe accapella of a song) which goes like:

    lyrics: "2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and bop/rock" repeated over and over again!

    Anone know what it is?

    Cheers

    Hiya,
I remember hearing a track that has an actual air raid siren full on during a really long breakdown - it went up and up for about a min and then held at the top - needless to say the party went mental (this was circa 1994-1996 maybe) - anyone know the name? - it might have been DJ DIE (not the full circle one) or from planet core records german/dutch type sound... Have googled for years, but never found out what it is :)
