Stereophonics to play Slane in August

    Just heard on the radio that the Phonics are to play Slane at the end of August. They will be supported by Nickleback, Dove and The Revs.

    Let them off. The band headlining Slane would have to be very good after the fiasco I had getting home on Dublin Bus last year.

    .. not to mention an hour and 45 mins to get from the castle to the village (about 10 miles). Ick... never again.

    Ah last year, we hopped on a bus that was dark and appeared to be broken down, then it suddenly the engine turned on and it started leaving, t'was the last bus of the first group of buses :)
