    I own www.xp-users.com it has gone down now but it was a nice site before, one of the most popular Windows XP sites.

    I entered the forum then got hit with porn popups, this happened on 2 seperate machines. Sorry if i hurt your mans feelings. Just telling it like it happened

    Why did the xp-users site go down if it was was of the best?

    Did it go down as in server trouble or down as in is no more?

    It sounds like both your PCs have been infected with some kind of virus/trojan type thing. I've been around the site he posted and there is no porn. Nothing. Zilch.
    Sounds to me like the problems on your side.

    My GOD their is absulutly NO PORN Whats so ever on my site. The only reason the site went down was because we lost our hosters for about 2 months. and from then on we lost confidence, about 5 of us, all teenagers developing it. It is still managing to get 1000 hits a day. www.xp-users.com/usage/
