What's the oddest system you've ever built?

    I'm going to build mine tonight ... P200MMX@225MHz, and 256Mb of PC133RAM (@75MHz) and a 40GbATA100 drive.

I'll push it up to 250 after I put in the water cooling.

Having a swap partition on a ramdisk

Loads of things need more than 128MB. Heck, to get the original Unreal running reasonably smoothly you needed that (in 1998 or so).

Also, you can get better AGP performance if you have enough spare (256MB) to allow a larger AGP aperture size.

Put the whole OS in a ramdisk!

Or having no swap file at all (Who says 768 is a waste?.. smile.gif...)

notice he's running freebsd on a p250 red moose. Not too much gaming going on there I'll guess! He'll have a tough time getting it to use swap at all.
