physical memory dump?

    have a comp ere when its shut down it performs a physical memory dump...

    NT4 sp6, didn't know how to fixed it so just formated it, anyone know how to fix it, or why it happen's??

    the blue screen will tell you which part of the memory was dumped and a reference yokeymabob
    just look it up in technet.
    could just be a misinstalled app.
    but id advise upgrade to sp6a smile.gif

    When the blue screen comes up it gives a really long error code, have a hunt around on the microsoft site or any other NT sites, and you will find a list of those error codes, and what they mean.
