I would like to share some valuable information on an outstanding
event in Dublin music education, which will take place on Friday,
    7th June.
I believe this is something that doesn't happen very often (over
here), and I would appreciate any help in spreading the message
for everyone interested (readers/ members/ yourselves)

Jazz Improvisation Workshop with Louise Gibbs
LOUISE GIBBS is a singer, jazz improviser and composer. It has
been said of her bebop-inspired style: "She can turn a hackneyed
jazz standard into a newly-imagined composition...and takes musical
risks...as expressive as any horn player whether the tune's by
Kenny Wheeler or Rodgers & Hart". Originally from New Zealand,
Louise now lives and works in London making forays into the Continent
    and the US.
In London she leads her own quartet with pianist James Pearson,
Julie Walkington (bass) and Stuart Richie (drums), and co-leads
the Gibbs-Griffith Band with tenor player Frank Griffith. Recently
she has been working in an unusual trio format with Tony Coe
    and Brian Priestley
To earn a respectable living Louise teaches jazz vocal techniques,
improvisation, and aesthetics at Goldsmiths College, University
of London. She also directs the LiTMus Professional Development
Programme based at the Royal College of Music.
For more information about Louise Gibbs biography, teaching,
    research and writing visit: www.louisegibbs.co.uk

Next Friday Louise is coming to Dublin to run a single Jazz Improvisation
for Singers workshop. This is a unique chance for everyone interested
in Jazz and willing to explore jazz improvisation and discover
the secret of its simplicity with one of the most famous jazz
vocal techniques tutors in the UK.
No previous experience in jazz singing reqired, although at least
    some singing experience advisable.
