Whats my diffaculties in upgrading?

    I want to get a AMD TB 1GHZ

    I have a P3 500

    I can crap this mother bord PC Partner Socket A

    Any ways what troubles would I have??

    What difficulties would i come into??

    It will fit after some modifications to your case with a screw driver. It will also take a bit of work to get the switches and leds on the front of the case to work with the motherboard. Also your dell power supply won't work, and you will need a new one.

    Gerry i dread those words *I WANT TO KEEP MY OLD GATEWAY/DELL CASE*In fairness i had to get a hacksaw out to the last one just to get a 300w PSU in the wires to the hdd led/powerswitch ect ect were stretched to the max and as you rightly say had to rip the block off and scrounge arround for some old duble/treble conectors.OOOO what fun.

    Get a new case... put a side the DELL case ans when u r selling u can put the old m/board and etc in and sell it as u get it smile.gif
