Bull**** your way through the paper. Thats what I did in my pre... I got 29%. Which is good, considering I don't have a damn clue of any of it. From what I hear, not alot of people from different schools around this area have a clue either.

Does anyone here have a clue?

Any actual advice as to what is coming up? :D

I really think I should do ok (C3 last year, B2 in the mocks) but that heavily depends on the paper. Would love stuff on technology, exchange rates etc. Worsed would be HRM, ratios etc.

Can anyone confirm/deny that ratios could come up in the ABQ this year? Are they part of units 4, 5 and 6?

Oh ****! I forgot all about them! They're what I'm best at in Business and I forgot to revise em. Thanks for the reminder! :D

The exam was easy enough except for the applied business question..
The ABQ was supposed to be on Section B this year but they threw in social and ethical responsibilites from Section C >:(

That wasn't too bad at all. The ABQ was difficult enough, but do-able. The long questions were nice, but I struggled a bit to get a third from part 2, ended up doing the business plan one, only had about 20 minutes left at the end for it.

I wrote about 12/13 pages in total, and my writing's small, but a lot of it was bullsh!t I suppose, no idea what I'll get :).

I thought the ABQ was easy and longer questions a bit hard.

Although I only studied UNIT 4,5,6 and didnt put a massive amount into 6 (Ethics!)

Business plan was nice and I waffled on about why foreign trade is good.

Exactly what I was going to say, except I wrote about 9/10 pages (all crammed in possibly 10-12 words per line, no kidding). And as Mills said above, like Geography you have no idea what you get in a paper like that. I was just blu****ting my way through the thing also.

Ah, how could I forget the short questions, they were absolutely handy :).

And pornapster, I get an average of 13/14 words per line :). I was writing really fast towards the end too so it's going to be hard for whatever poor bastard gets mine to mark to read it.

When I say 12/13 pages I didn't fill the pages completely, average of 5/6 lines space at the bottom of each one. I didn't proportion it out very well either, I wrote more for some of the 20 mark questions than for one or two 30 mark ones :(.

spent ages on the ABQ and did it perfectly looked up and it was 11.15. left me an hour to do 4 questions. Rushed em but got all but 1 part finished.

hand was in bits. that leaves half my paper with nice enatw riting diagrams and well thought out answer and another half with scribbled down chucked onto the page bull**** :p

I really can't say how I did. Last year in the LC I thought I did okay and came out with a stupid C and in the mocks I thought I did really crap and came out with a B2.

BTW, that mistake on the paper was annoying (12:00 was written instead of 12:30). Wrote like made and then at 11:55 the supervisor said "eh I suppose you know you have an extra 30 minutes)

did your supervisor not tell you that before the exam started? ours pointed out all the errors at the start of the exam..there was another one on p3 in a short question...
