Anyone know where I can get a freeware client to interact with SQL Server remotely? Do any even exist?

why not just install the SQL Server client tools on your client ?

if you have the IP/Server Name of your SQL server you should be able to connect

or alternativley install terminal services on your server
    or use net meeting

I would but the problem is I don't have the SQL Server software, which is why I need a free/shareware client.

For accessing MySQL remotely, without having to use the command line I use a client called DBTools. It doesn't support SQL Server as yet.

Is anything similar available for SQL Server?
