Can anyone tell me if widescreen is supported by either of the cable companies as a part of their digital offering. Most of the BBC's programming is now in widescreen so it should be easy enough to check. Can anyone tell me if widescreen is supported by either of the cable companies as a part of their digital offering. Most of the BBC's programming is now in widescreen so it should be easy enough to check.

The world cup games are shown in 4:3 with black bars at the left and right of the picture, but the studio analysis is in 16:9.

If it is supported there would probably be a 4:3/16:9 option in one of the setup menus.

NTL digital has widescreen switching, don't know about Chorus.
