Anybody read jean auel's "The Shelters Of Stone"

I am a huge fan of cave of the clan bear and was delighted to see that finally after 12 years Jean has finished the latest installment : "The Shelters Of Stone". However, when I went to buy it at Amazon there were over 200 basically shitty reviews. So I'm wondering if anyone has read it yet and what did they think of it?
