    Lucas has lost his skills as a director.
    Annakin and his lovely girl are terrible through ther whole film, the love story is unwatchable, and they can NOT act.
    Yoda sounds like Kermit or the Cookie monster with a sabre.
    The bad guys are too futuristic, too high tech making the Death star , Vader and Tie-Fighters too look like a load of junk!!
    Lucas released the film during the World Cup, So he's gonna go down!!

    What a terrible time to release a film during the World Cup, do any of these guys have a clue?

    No

    Because they think the world watches American fooseball and Baseball ( Rounders ).


    Would Lucas have opened Star Wars during the Super Bowl, I think not.

    This proves many Americans are still disconnected with the workings of the real world ( In Sports and Entertainment anyway! )

    Actually star wars was released weeks before the world cup! Almost a month now! So its not his fault you did not go see it before the world cup. And in fact Soccer as they call it there is getting to be as big as American football.. Remember the USA is still in the world cup!!

    As for being too High Tech? There is a difference between better SFX and the enemies having high tech stuff... The death star was way beyond anything in any of the new films... your talking a moon sized ship that can destroy a planet!! The Tie Fighters are better than any of the fighters in the new film and carry better weapons etc... Dont be fooled by eye candy...

    Look at Startrek... the new series is on a ship that looks better and more high tech than the original enterprise but when you get right down to it its not.. it just has better SFX and eye candy but the details of what it can do compared to original series ship... the Enterprise A was far superior in weapons/ speed/ shields etc..
