I have a Mac SE/30 , what do you think is a good hardware mod for it ? I thought turning it into a Fishtank was a pretty funky idea, but could other things be done with it ?

Mods that can be done now I'm talking about, nothing thats currently impossible, or costs more than a grand.

Turn it round and use it as a small double shelf for pens and stuff. It'll have a cool transparent back to it.

Or make it a portable (heavy) bag for carrying... things...

    erm, OK maybe not.

Go ahead and make it a fishtank.
Put in a red or blude cathode, or LEDs to light it up.
Water aggitator could work off the mains supply too.

I saw someone build a Windows PC inside a Mac Classic (roughly the same dimensions as the SE/30 (that was the '030 powered Mac in an normally 68000-powered SE box, IIRC?) They used a 10" TFT screen and wedged a PC in behind it...?

(Can't find the link right now...)

    Hehhe :)
Could use one of those flex ATX boards, 10' screen shouldn't be too hard to find from a specialist, could even be a TFT model (Flatscreen Mac SE/30 ...nice )
TFT should leave plenty of space at the back for fitting in drives etc.
