ok, how do i set up a user so that they can add a scanned signiture onto their mails?

secondly, how do i make up my own signature that automatically appears at the end of my mails so i dont have to keep typing in

    rgds
    blah blah
    phone etc

What mail template are you using? For that matter what version of domino would also be intresting too?

R5 Mail template has a button in your inbox view where you just specify your signature, either type it in as text or point to a html file.

The other option you have is Stationary option in your mail file.

How about getting yourself a book on Notes for Dummies? smile.gif Or are you supposed to be admin?

    [loaded up notes]

Select the Tools Button in your Inbox,
    Select Preferences.
    Select Mail Tab
    Select Signature sub Tab
    Select "Use Text"
    Type in "Regards, blah, blah"
Click OK (you can switch on automatic or not here as well).

If you don't click on automatic when you create a new mail, click Tools button and select "Insert Signature".

nope, i tried this. i did look up the help files you know smile.gif
unfortunately, when i go into user prefs, theres no signiture option, only a sign text mail option. however, i dont know where to actually create the signiture. if i can find that, i reckon im bright enough to figure out the rest wwman.gif

4.6 is pretty old. It's an automatic feature of 5.0

Here is Information on making a signature smarticon.

I don't know what version that is for (the picture looks like R5) but the code looks like it will work in R4.6. It will make an icon in your top bar which will insert the signature when you click it.

Of course I am guessing this is all alien to you and probably absolutly no help.

I would recommend getting a book on Notes (Client) + Domino (Server).
