Ive got 2 pc's networked, Ive set up connection sharing, And for a good while it worked, without a single problem. Now for some reason its stopped working,
Ive tried everything I can think of, tried reinstalling everything, Network cards, The connection sharing, The 2nd pc just cant/wont access the net.
Ive gone into the IE options and selected "connect through lan" as well.
Anyone have any ideas I could try to get it working again ?

Could you still transfer files across the LAN?
Your routing table could be screwed.
When you say you 'removed' ICS, how did you do it?

Also, how did you get it working before as i'm trying to do teh same thing.

    www.sambar.com

Use it. Don't moan about not being able to share internet access between PCs, just download it.

Add-remove programs -> Windows Setup -> Internet tools -> Internet connection sharing.
I added that, and voila ! it worked. I only had to do it on the pc that connects to the net.
I had no problems until now. The 2nd pc just wont access he net.. very annoying.
Im trying that sambar thing now.. whatever it is.. smile.gif thanks jaden.

    It's a NAt server thing isn't it?

*I think* you have to tell the client to use your server's/gateway's/PC connected-to-internet's IP in the TCP/IP Properties under 'Gateways'. I think.
