Mmh. That 7432 is a bit high for 3DMark 2001... what the hell are you running it on? To but it in perspective, on an Athlon Thunderbird @ 1333MHz, w/a GeForce 2 GTS (standard speeds) using standard SDRAM at 133MHz, tweaked a bit; and on an Abit KT7A-RAID board I get around 3600 3DMark2001 3DMarks.

Is it possible you ran 3DMark 2000 the second time? It seems the most likely explanation.

Actually now that I've had a mess around with it and turned off some of the "you don't need to see that, child" options, the interface is growing on me. Plus Q3 runs alright, which is nice.

How long does RC1 last for anyway?
