    I have all the patches, but no dice.
    Thing won't install. Bl33ts about incorrect exe version or something, yet its the 22017 or whatever and i'm using the correct interim patch and instaling from the same drive as the tribes install is on.

    Have you tried patching the game via Sierra Update?

    Even after you get the patchs T2 is still a quest to get working :)

    from what I hear people who have managed to patch tribes 2 and get it running on a consistent basis are making millions as consultants nowadays.

    the game runs decently enough most of the time.
    Just want to play with any'new' features/maps that are in the patchs.
    How big are they in total?
    I'm on dialup so I can't just auto-update.
    Fecking patches....
    Would it matter if it was a clonecd'd version of the retail disc? (literally a back up - after what happend to my wi98SE disc :( )
