Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    its been ages since i bought some comics so i went into subcity the other day got this months tangled wen of spiderman, and i bought the tpb of Death Of Superman, im not a superman fan but i thought i have to have this its just one of those must haves, does anyone know where i can get the story about the origin of doomsday??

    Question though....I don't GET the whole Superman thing

    His only weakness is kryptonite and apart from that this guy can pretty much do anything.

    So why does he have foes? Why is there anyone to fight? I mean surely it just takes him finding them - grabbing or hitting them....and then getting them in prison (human) or sending them back out into space (alien)

    The man of steel (think that needs to be rethought after adamantium came out :P ) shouldn't be beaten and yet they've had the story line going for so long....

    Superman can be beaten by normal people it just takes longer than if kryptonite was used.
    Take The Dark Knight Returns, in that Superman almost dies twice without the use of kryptonite and for those who have read The Death of Superman you will know by Superman dies, I'm still surprised he lasted that long.

    BTW Don't bother collecting the next few graphic novels on the aftermath of Supes death because frankly they are the biggest load of tripe ever.

    im not a superman fan at all frankly i find him boring as hell, but i thought i had to have that book cause of its historic value and the fact it was only 13€!
