Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ireland team to face Russia in September?

    I was reading in the papers today how some journalist want a lot of the Ireland team scrapped despite our good performances in Japan/Korea.


    The Current Ireland first 11 looks something like this.

    Given

    Finnan : Breen : (vacant 1) : Harte

    Kelly : Holland : Kinsella : Kilbane

    Keane : Duff


    Most reviews seemed to want Kilbane kicked out, as well as Kelly, Breen, Kinsella and Harte to be replaced with a selection from Reid, Morrison, Duff (for Kilbane), Carr, and Roy Keane, Colin Healy and Andy O'Brien, John O'Shea and Stephen McPhail (surely a joke?),

    Personally I don't buy into it. I think we should keep the team as it as and just fill vacant positions as they arise. After all there's no player on the scene at present whose talent shouts out "pick me" above those we already have. ... apart from Roy of course but he looks like he won't be back anytime soon.

    So what would your starting 11 for the match against Russia be?

    Harte cant defend but he can attack?
