Dreamweaver code / layout view

    I've used Dreamweaver 4 to edit phplib style templates ... I got MX recently, and anytime I open the files, which are for use with phpbb2, and have .tpl extension, I get <<<text>>> in the title bar, and I can't switch to layout view.

    I've set dreamweaver to be the editor for .tpl files in preferences, .... anyone know how I can get it to open the files in layout view??

    Ok, I looked up the help file, and it told me something about MMDocumenttypes.xml

    I edited this, adding tpl to the list of windows / mac extensions for the html file.

    Restarted dreamweaver and .tpl files opened in layout view.

    Yay!
