i had tunes of trouble with my web connection 56k eircom :( but when i installed xp pro my problem have gone so woohooo:p but i dont have clue why ? any ways touch wood the problems will stay away ;)

Was this a 56k modem getting 56kor 33.3k The data speeds at56k are only available of one end or the other of the line is digital. E.G. if you or the isp had isdn/dsl type connectivity. COuld be if you don't have it that they've updated the comms kit.
