swish -> swf -> gif?

    I got a (ehem)copy of swish, it's handy and they've put loads of work into it.

    I preferred when nobody knew about it and wasn't littered everywhere on the internet.

    I also got a copy of swift3D that exports .swf's too

    anyway can you convert the exported swf files to animated gifs?

    any ideas?

    You'll need Flash 5 or Flash MX

    First Export your movie as an swf from swish.
    (File -> Export -> swf or CTRL+E)

    Then open up Flash
    File -> Import -> then select the swf
    (make sure to resize the movie dimensions to suit the size you want to export as in the properties panel)

    Then...
    File -> Export -> .gif

    and you're done :)

    FYI, the file sizes are very big when doing this, as Flash will not compress the data as a .gif like it would with swf.
