I'm after ordering a computer off overclockers and it will take a few days to arrive in the mean time I want to make sure I have everything so I don't end up waiting a week for some small cable.

I'm after buying my pc from a uk dealer so does that mean i'll need new plugs for my case monitor and speakers? Or can i just buy normal irish plugs and stick them on instead? If i do need to buy new mains cables is this one at peats the right one?

    Yep. AKA the "kettle" plug.

Or you could cut off the supplied plugs and replace them with these:
Go to http://maplin.co.uk/ and put MW54J into the Maplin Code box. carriage from the Uk would probably make them expensive though.

OK, joke over. We have the same plugs as the UK...

I was under the impression that the U.K. used the same 3 pin plug.
