    This unofficial patch updates the MILES Audio System in GTA3, as well as other stuff.

    - Improves audio quality
    - Visual range listings and random objects will be removed from the game to improve performance on lower-end systems. Use of this feature is only recommended if performance issues still remain after upgrading the game to version 1.1 (Ed - Well duh )
    - For best performance of this patch, choose "MILES FAST 2D AUDIO" under game sound options.

    Just after you install it, don't forget to change your audio system in the Options menu

    So head over Here and download the patch.

    UPDATE
    As it looks, this patch is a "roundup" of all the user made patches, such as SheepyUK's patch. "

    hmm looks interesting ,suppose probaly the main reason PC games are superior to Console.
    hope they get the scripting figured out.

    damn right
    GTA3 patches are a helluva lot more important than patches for other games. Its such a bloody great game it deserves at LEAST one thread for each way to make it better.
