    The Doors to reform
Thirty years after the death of their lead singer Jim Morrision, The Doors
are to reform for a reunion tour.
The surviving members of the legendary Californian rock band are to play
shows in the US and Europe.
The original keyboard player Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger and
drummer John Densmore have also been writing songs for a new album.
Since splitting up in 1973, they have only played twice together in public.
Morrison's place will be taken by The Cult's Ian Astbury.

    Agreed Beruthiel.

Although, I think curiousity will the the deciding factor in me going along if they come here. :)

Ian Astbury?? Whoa , that would never have ocured to be, but now that i think of it, he does have quite a jim-esque voice.

Did anyone go to see Manzerek and his spoken word gig at HQ a few years ago? I heard him on Ryan one morning and he came accross like a complete twat, so i didnt bother.

Does this mean that Ray Manzarek has resumed residence on Planet Earth or is it just a visit. The only man on the face of the planet who makes Julian Cope seem normal.
