Ep 87 season 6 The Couch love that ep especially the scene where George is being very rude in Joe's apt, its bad enough they let him in but to act like that was just unbelievable what else do we expect from him?
Only Larry David could come up with the abortion debacle.:D

EP 94: The Mom And Pop Store
    (From tv3 the other night)

The Midnight Cowboy parody at the end is hillarious with Jerry and Kramer on the bus.

[Why did Tim Whatley shave his hair and beard?? Looked much better with them in tact :)]

    The Maid:

Elaine: "Then maybe you have a fax machine"

I have to say that the 176 was very good but the 177 was not deserving as the last ever episode. Was great to finally see them though, can't believe it took me so long.

Two questions for you seinfeld experts
    1. what the name of the episode where elaine loses here shirt button in the cimema
    2. who's jerry's better best friend, kramer or george.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,386 ✭✭✭smuckers

Jerry's knows Kramer only as his neighbour.
Sometimes I think their relationship was one more of tolerance than anything else. I think they warmed to each other by the end though:)

    The Apartment

George: Is that right? I just threw away a lifetime of guilt-free sex and floor seats for ever sporting event in Madison Square Garden. So please, a little respect. For I am Costanza. Lord of the Idiots!

Kramer: Occasionaly I like to help the humans

    Ep. 70... The Lip Reader

Just look at how hard the actress playing Monica Seles hits the court when Kramer bundles her over. That looks so real!!

Jer: Thus ends the great "ball man" experiment.

I love the whole phenoneman behind the Ep, because its just so true.

I think I could write a whole fan fic on "The Kiss Goodbye"

Kiss Hello is just hilarious heard a girl talking about it on the train ppl are talking. ;)

I saw The Beard last night what a great ep love the metaphor of changing teams and George can't admit that he's bald, Larry D was the secret Melrose Place fan.

Elaine: Who do you think you are Costanza?
George: "Remember Jerry its not a lie if you believe it"

    :D

I love the bit where Robert says...
    "but I'm a starting shortstop"

The switching teams metaphor is pretty funneh!!

    --
    In re: The kiss Hello
I remember I used to Watch Melrose, when it came out first- it was on directly after 90210 on Fox- so I was a closet fan before I realised it was total shiite ;)

I even remember the priest in my school in Washington saying Melrose Place was fantasy, young singles hopping in and out of bed with one another every 2 mins and it promoted permiscuise behaviour among youth !!

    --
just thinking about it, season 6 ranks up there with season 4's epic status- loadsa top class eps in that period too :)

Only watchable for Heather Locklear etc. ;)

Yeah season 6 was a very good season Big Salad Jimmy Fusilli Jerry all classics. Also season 7 and season 5 would be up there too.

    Ep. 120: "The Gum"

LD was obviously honing his comedy skills for CYE...

"I beg your pardon, your majesty, but we don't accept bills with lipstick on the president.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,386 ✭✭✭smuckers

    The Barber

Jer: "I beleive they've found a cure fo polio"
    Kramer(pause) "Polio"

George: "You look like you're five years old"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,386 ✭✭✭smuckers

    The Pool Guy

George: "Thats the George you grew up with Coffee Shop George, movie George, Liar George Bawdy George"
    Jerry: "I love tha George"
George: "Me too and he's dying Jerry"

Kramer: "Why don't you just tell me the movie you'd like to see"

I can't believe Jerry didn't give him mouth to mouth but then again you're asking the wrong person.

We're prepared to offer you all the free coffee you want in any of our stores throughout North America and Europe, Plus.......

    Kramer: (Interrupting)
    I'LL TAKE IT!!

    --
The argument with Jackie in the Taxi is pretty funny too..."Who told you to put the balm on!?"

    --
BTW, The maestro's real name is Bob Cobb and didnt Larry David use that name again in CYE when there was the discussion about the Cobb Salad!?

    Series 7: The Calzone

Its always Enjoyable to relive the dietary habits of "Big Mr S."

    Mr. Steinbrenner :
When I find something I like I stick with it . From 1973 to 1982 I ate the exact same lunch everyday . Turkey chili in a bowl made out of bread . Bread bowl George. First you eat the chili then you eat the bowl . There's nothing more satisfying than looking down after lunch and seeing nothing but a table.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,386 ✭✭✭smuckers

    Love Big Stein.

    The Postponement:

George: Look at me I can't turn
    Jer: You're turning
George: Its not a good turn!!!!!!!!

Rabbi: She said if her friend was going to a prostetute while enganged would be considered cheating he said whats the difference they are never gonig to see each other anymore so whats the difference.

    Series 7: The Doll

It was really funny with the Billards Room in Georges old bedroom. We used to have a snooker table that was 8x4 in our garage and there was always parts of the room you could never get the cue fully extended.

Just another example of Seinfeld in my daily life !!

[BTW, I've been on a series 7 marathon- watching an ep or 2 before bed for the last fe nights :)]

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,386 ✭✭✭smuckers

I've been watching a good few eps out of season 7 too I had a snooker table in my house too but not the garage but in the back room I was like Frank pushing the ball with the cue:D

    Series 7: The Wait out

I think I've found myself in this situation a few times- Not with marraiges though. I love this bit where Jerry and Elaine are trying to find an excuse to call up Beth and David so they can try and hook up...

    ELAINE:
Oh! I've got it! I've got it! We're calling just to say, "I'm there for you."

    JERRY:
    "I'm there for you."

    ELAINE:
Then, after a period of being "there for you", we slowly remove the two words "for you", and we're just "there".

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,386 ✭✭✭smuckers

That was also the first ep where Elaine dramatically changed her appearance.

    going back a few seasons

    The Airport

Kramer: Listen to the bells Grossbard they toll thee

George: Maybe I'll read it in the park tomorrow
its supposed to be a beautiful day have a nice life sentence that is

How many times have you been in that Elaine situation?

I presume your talking about the Wait Out scenario?

    Definitely 3 times.
    Successful on 1 occassion :)

    --
IMO, I think for the 1st half of Season 7, Elaine looks at her best. She wore horrible clothes before then and Seasons 8 and 9 were mostly when she was pregnant and then recovering from it.

In any of her appearances in CYE, she looked good :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,386 ✭✭✭smuckers

I was actually referring to The Airport but that too. :)
Julia has always looked good, in season 3 she was pregnant also she wore the lose clothing.
its only a matter of time before Jerry makes an appearance in CYE.

    The Pick

KRAMER: Now what does the little man inside you say? See you gotta listen to the little man.

GEORGE: My little man doesn't know.

KRAMER: The little man knows all.

GEORGE: My little man's an idiot.

George: Oh hey, if you happen to see the most beautiful girl who walked out on me. Tell her I'm sorry. Tell her I need my baby ... oh won't you tell her ... I love her. Oh hey, ...

    :)
