What happened with phantom last night?

I couldn't get Phantom on either 91.6 or 88.1 fm and the via the internet was really scratchy. Apparently pete reed didnt turn up for his show cause he wasn't in the chat room and the people in the chat room said the computer was just palying the songs. And the phone had the answering machine on. What was going on?
