the following article comes from the torch:

Kevin Nash suffered a quad injury tonight during the main event on WWE Raw. Just seconds after tagging into the ring for the first time, he hit a big boot and then stepped to the opposite corner of the ring where he collapsed in pain.

The injury was to his quad, according to a message on his website, KevinNash.com, posted shortly after Raw tonight. The report also said surgery is already being scheduled.

He screamed in agony in the ring, but was calmer backstage as trainers and medics assessed his condition.

Nash wasn't scheduled to wrestle until house shows this coming weekend, but a late change in plans led to him having to get his ring gear sent to him at the last second. Booker Brian Gewirtz pushed for Nash to return tonight. There's no indication at this point whether Nash coming back earlier than he had planned had anything to do with being more susceptible to such an injury.

Nash has wrestled just four matches for WWE since his returning, and in tw of those matches has suffered major injuries, including his one singles match.*********

the latest say that it is a very similar injury to the one hhh suffered last year and no doubt he will be out for a considerable length of time

Makes you wonder if the WWE will just drop him and the whole nwo fiasco and get on to better things. I mean he was sitting around injured for how many months, now gets back and injured within a minute of his return? Much better talents than him have been fired for being inactive for a fraction of the time he's been out.

ive said before that the nwo should be dropped but it should be given a logical conclusion - just dropping it now would be bad for nash (even though he is the worst wrestler i have ever seen and i personally hate him with a passion - and not in a mark sense), hbk would be left out in the cold as would booker as he id married to the nwo for the forseeable future (sad but true) so kill the nwo . . . please kill it but logically - weve seen to many storylines dropped in mid stream and it is bad for business
