Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Recently a ridiculously large and annoying ad for Eircom was dropped into our advertising rotation.

I dont know where that came from, it wasnt authorised by us and it certainly wouldnt have been acceptible.

I was on holidays and as soon as it was brought to my attention we pulled all code that talked to the adserver.
The code hasnt been put back and I'll be having some serious
conversations with them about things like *permission* to start new ad campaigns etc before its reinstated.

Apologies to anyone who found it difficult to access or navigate the site as a result. Any feedback, please post on the Admin forum.

    Thanks,
    DeV and the Admins.

    :(

Yep, there's an eircom ad there anyway. Just forgot to pull the code out of Cloud's cool LOTR template prolly :)

You have to laugh though. It's typical eircom annoying customers by making the internet slow and unworkable. Surprised they didn't double bill us all for the privilege.

I'm gonna leave it, since it doesn't seem to be the ubermegacrappyannoying dropdown flash ad.

I think we should pull it on principal, but I'm back in the office tomorrow and we'll sort it out then...
