SYS mark ratings!

    Any you guys think that we might see a day when pc games will come with a recomended sys mark score as well as the recomended specs. As we all know a 400mhz CPU doesent cut the mustard on its own any more video card and ram are getting more important and lower spec machines might do fine with a top end video card and so on.

    For ecample!
    Quake 6
    Min spec:
    sys mark2001 score 8500
    Cpu 2gig
    Ram 1gig
    video card 512 meg.... ect ect

    wouldnt that be nice you would have a better idea straight away whether to buy a game instead of "ensure you have the latest drivers " crap...

    YEah bedcause the min spec on the side of the box dont realy mean much these days!

    i seen games recommending a certain generation of video card and games which say. xxx wont work with this game.

    still the min specs eman nothing these days
