    Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding ntl's Always-On cable modem internet service.

Unfortunately, this service is not yet available in your area. ntl ceased upgrading its network in early 2001 and are not yet clear as to when the rollout of the digital network will continue, however would expect to start this process sometime next year.

Please do not hesitate in contacting me should you have any queries.

    Kind Regards
    NTL Customer Support

    --Original Message--

On February 14th I subscribed to your Digital TV pack and at the time of
subscription expressed that I also wished to subscribe to the "Always
On" cable internet service, hence saving 5 Euro per month.

I was informed that the cable internet service was to be available in my
area ( XXXXXXXXXXXXX, Harold's Cross, Dublin 6W ) in "about two to
three weeks" but this has yet to happen.

I have inquired several times as to when my area will be upgraded but
have been unable to get even a rough estimation.

I have also been informed twice that the sales staff could not know when
an area is to be upgraded and therefore I feel I have been deliberately
mislead for the sake of a sale.

Can you tell me if I will still qualify for my discount when the
internet service becomes available as this was mainly the reason for me
subscribing to the Digital TV pack, and can you give me a connection
date for the Always On service.
