    I`m looking for some chat software for a web site,similar to msn Chat(or whatever you kids are using). Software price is no object either as long as it works great.

    Hopefully some sorta bot feature where use of keywords will get you kicked.

    Any help or ideas as always is greatly appreciated.

    I`m only running ASP/HTML pages so no php stuff please.
    Of course the chat client will prolly be JAVA but thats no prob.

    Regards

    I used one that runs on ASP using a Flash interface. Its a bit slow though but works well. You can make your own backgrounds for it aswell and it also allows Administration (With password) and private rooms.

    Don't know if this is any use to you, haven't had a chance to try it myself, but it should produce some sort of chat room ???
    <applet code="EIRC" codebase="http://fiznet.net/chat/" archive="EIRC.jar,EIRC-gfx.jar" width="700" height="400">
    <param name="server" value="irc.fiznet.net" />
    <param name="port" value="6667" />
    <param name="mainbg" value="#4E6C90" />
    <param name="mainfg" value="#000000" />
    <param name="textbg" value="#66CCFF" />
    <param name="textfg" value="#000099" />
    <param name="nickname" value="FizGuest??" />
    <param name="channel" value="#chatzone" />
    <param name="username" value="promo" />
    <param name="titleExtra" value="Fizzwizz" />
    <param name="realname" value="www.fizzwizz.net" />
    <param name="password" value="" />
    <param name="login" value="1" />
    <param name="language" value="en" />
    <h1>FizNET</h1>
    <p> Sorry, but you need a Java 1.1.x enabled browser to use this applet</p>
    </applet>

    this one is the most popular: http://www.aspobjects.com/process/showproduct/?id=552 and also being free to use is helpful...
