Favourites and Windows speed - tip

    Just thought I'd share this out. Wouldn't have thought it could make much of a difference but it has

    Up till lately, most of my IE Favorites have been fairly unorganised - I've had about 1800 bookmarked sites in my Favorites directory. Sorted them last night into about 60 folders - so I now only have about 90 items in my Favorites directory.

    Speed difference is amazing - opening and closing IE, accessing the Favs list (obviously), using Windows Explorer (drive access is far faster), file dragging using Nero - the list goes on. Drive access is so improved that I'll put good money it'll sort some of my DivX encoding problems (doesn't make any sense but neither does the Nero improvement).

    Well worth a try if you're unorganised and didn't know what a difference it could make.

    Just kidding, I might try it on my computer now to if it can speed up slowest hunk of junk in the galaxy! :)
