new grapiches card

    its time 2 get a new graphics card.here is the critera
    -around €200
    -tv out/tv tuner
    -either 64 or 128mb ram
    -will be running a 19" @1280*1024@85hz
    -i play mostly RTCW,QIII,SOFII
    -i watch quite a bit of dvixs and dvds
    i have shortlisted a few

    or do u think its worth paying the extra for the Asus V8420 GeForce4 Ti4200 128MB DDR (€236.32)???
    so what do you think any thing 2 add anything 2 say about them???where do u think i sould get the (these prices are from komplett).ie

    those games all use opengl and ATI are crap for that so knock them on the head.
    G4 ti 4200 is a good un but if you can go a lil higher go for the €236 128mb one :)

    From the options there i'd go for the gf4 ti4200. There is not a huge difference between the 64mb and the 128mb. I advise you to look at a few benchmarks for them cards on the game that you will be playing to see which one you'd prefer/need.

    i just noticed that the gf4 ti4200 is AGP *4 and my motherboard is *1 i just assumed that it will just slow down to my motherboards speed right????
