win 98 problom

    just installed win 98 brand spanky new install its started to crash for no reason at all . and im not doing anything .

    im using a chaintech board and a celeron processor . im looking for clues at mo to see why its not running fine . anyone seen this sorta thing b4 at moment im going to switch the ram and see if its making any sort of a difference . audio and vido onboard .

    Did ya install on a basic system?

    1 stick ram
    hdd
    video
    cpu
    cd drive

    I'm suspecting your ram

    yep did . switched ram . looking nice so far no crashes . i thinks ram
