I know it was a crap channel but now it's an ex channel.
Not on channel 576 any more.

Godammit, I actually liked that channel !!

It had some good "spacey" programmes.

Meanwhile the shopping channels are increasing exponentially.

There's no justice (or taste, it seems).

I liked Einstein TV too - it was a bit like Tomorrow's World when it had a budget or Beyond 2000 (remember that?) and the space programmes were always really interesting. There really is no justice if FTA/FTV channels can't survive (unless they're crass sh**ping channels!)

Einstein TV website has the following info:

We are currently in negotiations with our supplier regarding transmission of Einstein TV in the UK . We have agreed a temporary suspension of the service which will very shortly lead to a reconstruction and we will make a further statement then. We are using this temporary 'down-time' to upload a whole new set of programmes (in the region of 400 new reports) and to refresh our schedules.

So it looks like its only temporary !
