    The servers are both mail.eircom.net, if that's what you're on about

    I don't work for eircom but I would have said mail1.eircom.net was the pop3 and smtp server.

    Maybe you should consult their tech support site if you're unsure. :)

    POP mail2.eircom.net
    SMTP mail2.eircom.net

    these are the settings for Mail

    Cheers lads both mail1 and mail2.eircom.net work and Stinkah
    I tried there site last night but it was down(just when you need them).The mistake I was making was putting Pop and Smtp in front of both settings but thanks again

    mail1.eircom.net is indigo
    mail2.eircom.net is Eircom

    mail1.eircom.net is eircom net's primary POP mail server for residential subscription customers.

    Sorry Frank and JD for the confusion there.
