Well thanks to year end at my present place of work i will not have a job in 2 weeks, so i'm looking for a job again.

I've got 5 years I/T/ experiance behinde me ask WWman ... umm then again dont !!
as i used to work with him.
if anyone has anything or heard of anything just mail me please .. or post up here and i'll email them ....

see that's what i get for going into sales.

I just took a look at that. It say you worked on an AS/400. What kind of skills would you have on that? Do you know any Database? (SQL in all that)?
As we are thinking of opening a postion when a person will look after the AS/400 and database systems.

no wonder you cant get a decent job. its full of crap. sort it out lad. go to any job website and there will be pages on putting together a cv, or mail me and i will send you mine you can use as a template.

Yeah take out the bits about office as well. If your going for a Sys Admin/Desktop Support job, your Cv will be bined. Keep to your OS/Programing/Tools used/ and so on. Your Experince with the AS/400 always looks good. go into more detail on it.

his experience in as/400 is being able to install rumba or netsoft elite adn configuring them over tcp/ip
no admin stuff.
same as my experience
god is that stuff boring!

Remember i Started there loong before you did , when the whole role of desktop support was very different. We (when i first joined) looked after getting the reports out, seting up of users and so fort, a lot more complicated than the process there today !!!

anyway stop bothering me and let me get on with rebuilding my CV !!!

Thats all you really need to know to start off with, If you get your cv to me and you get a Job, they will send you to a sys opper corse in IBM up the road from my job.(its very good)
