OutLook 2000 and email links

Hi everyone, Hope someone has a solution to this problem. I am using outlook 2k. However, if I am email within a group of people and replying to all it stores their email address as hyperlinks, this is slowing my performance down. Is there a way to deactivate this ?? Thanks a lot,
