Systems Architect is a pretty different title to the other two.. ~65,000

I know two people on 35,000-40,000 in (relatively) small companies with that job description.

Development Manager/Project Manager - Educated guess at 80-90,000. Multi-national companies for medium-large systems, I've seen advertisments that go up to 110,000 (sterling) in the Times, in England though.

and who is it that is telling you about all these WONDERFUL jobs out there...

    ... a recruitment company (Marlborough).

Those average wages are completely off whack.

Take at least a third off them.

Oh mighty Dev, tell us what is the average wage then? smile.gif

That link link wouldn't work for me but I looked at some of the jobs there (none of which fall within what I do, I think I cover 2 areas) and the wages seemed low in some cases.

Others seemed totally out of whack.

OK I don't work in IT, I work in construction, my salary has risen by 30%+ for at least the last 4 years. It is very difficult to gause figures. People will pay for results
