    Some very interesting Data Here on what happens when broadband is available to the public at a reasonable price.

    Note the economics argument per exchange. If 200 users @ C €15 euros a month (€20ish is the BT wholesale rate and 200 users is the lower end of what they find worthwhile) justifies the upgrading of an exchange to ADSL capability then our shower are trying to break even at 40 users per exchange at €100 euros per user or thereabouts.

    I meant UK£15 and should have converted this as around €23

    200x€23 revenue per month for BT justifies upgrading an exchange for ADSL

    Thats €4600 a month even in a rural area

    That would be 46 IScream customers here in a given exchange

    Etain? wassup Commissioner????????
