Have been experiencing a problem with Winamp, wuz wondering if anyone else has seen it and if so, how it was resolved.

The problem is that it keeps freezing up the PC, once this happens have to reboot and then I get the checking files etc.. Spec is more than enough for it, am running on Win2k.

Any ideas anybody or could anyone suggest better sw for listening to Mp3s ?

    Thanks,

    M

that's a bit extreme just to get winamp working.
i have the same problem myself, but only since i moved up to the latest version of winamp.
it only seems to lock up when i use the left/right keys to scan through a tune.
maybe your answer lies in a previous version...
cant be bothered trying it myself tho, i just use the mouse to scan
(not sure if i posted this twice, damn dial up bollox)
