    The “Figa e.p” is the debut release from Glasgow’s THE JAMES ORR COMPLEX and the latest offering from the MOGWAI-[engineered] ROCK ACTION RECORDS.

    The “Figa e.p” is a collection of 5 tracks that serve as an essential introduction to the unique talent and voice of one Chris Mack, who is also frontman and co-founder of the rock and roll band currently performing as ESKA.

    THE JAMES ORR COMPLEX represents a radical departure in style from ESKA’s self-styled rock and roll ouvre and instead offers a contemporary take on a traditional musical form which is equal parts Reinhart and Fahey.

    After countless well-received live appearances spanning a five year period, Chris embarked on the recording of an e.p in Summer, 2001. The extremely favourable result of his endeavour affects, warms and inspires.

    With the “Figa e.p” serving as a limited edition precursor to the delivery of a full-length album early next year, one cannot even begin to imagine the treats that lie in store.

    The “Figa e.p” is available on 7” vinyl and CD.
